Welcome to MKB Consulting

This website has been created to provide a basic showcase of my current expertise and past work. Please understand that the website is a work in progress and will continue to mature over the next few months.

I am currently undertaking research and analysis on the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) to states and non-state actors such as terrorists. Until August 2007 I was Deputy Director of the Chemical and Biological Weapons Nonproliferation Program (CBWNP) at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) in Monterey, California. In addition to my familiarity with the proliferation of CBW I have experience and academic training in studying the proliferation of nuclear weapons, both as a historical and contemporary phenomenon.

Please take the opportunity to look at my publications and about me pages for more details and examples of my past work.

The picture at the top of the page is of the Waitemata Harbour in my home town of Auckland, New Zealand. It was taken from the summit of Mt. Eden in the Spring of 2006. I moved to the U.S.A. in August 2001 and am currently living in Ithaca, NY.
